We’d like to notify you of important academic works for new graduate students in 2021, so please read thoroughly 🙂

1. Searching Courses
– Access UNIST website (http://www.unist.ac.kr) → Campus Life → Academics → Browse Open Courses → Select Academic Year and Semester (2021, 1st semester) → Select Program, Undergraduate/Graduate, Department(School), Major → Search Courses

2. Student ID Card
– Apply for ID card will be possible from 02.15.(Mon) : visit UNIST branch of Kyongnam Bank (UNIST Bldg. 201 (Main Bldg), 1st Floor) with an identification card (Passport, Alien registration card, etc.)
※ In case of UNIST graduates, they should carry their ID card and student ID card visiting Kyongnam Bank

3. Student ID Number
– Visit Graduate School Admission website (http://adm-g.intl.unist.ac.kr) → Board → Notice → ‘Information on student number inquiry for new graduates for the spring semester of 2021’

4. Freshmen Orientation from College of Engineering is supposed to be held on 03.10.(Wed) ~ 03.11.(Thu)
* Will be noticed later on

5. UNIST Portal ID
– UNIST Portal (http://portal.unist.ac.kr) → ‘Join’ → making ID with graduate student number and name
* You can take the course registration only after making portal ID (refer to the attached manual below.)
* Portal ID will be a UNIST e-mail address and not-changeable, so please make it seriously
* Detailed inquiry: An, Sung at the Information strategy team (052-217-1426 / castle@unist.ac.kr)

6. Course Registration
– Course Registration Period: 02.15.(Mon), 02.16.(Tue) 09:00-18:00
* Not doing it during the period above, it is possible to register in the course change and confirmation period.
– Course Change and Confirmation period: 03.02.(Tue) ~ 03.05.(Fri) 09:00-18:00
* Note: There’s no official course counselling for a graduate student

7. Selection of major and advisor: Portal → Academic Affairs → Information → Advisor selection
