◎ Purpose : to nurture world class scholars at unist

◎ Qualification

 

–  Freshmen(2015) who have outstanding research potentials as world class scientists in the combined master’s-doctoral courses or the doctoral courses

–  Students who have outstanding research performances in combined master’s-doctoral course or doctoral course,
and those who have published their thesis of SCI level (as a first author) or dissertation on world class academic journals such as Nature, Science, and Cell et cetera

 

◎ Amount of Nine bridges & Star fellowship : max. KRW 90 million for 3 years

※ Amount of Nine bridges & Star fellowship on 2nd & 3rd year will be depend on the result of mid evaluation by graduate school committee

※ Selected fellowship beneficiary students are not allowed to hold RA/TA or other scholarships during the same period

 

◎ Screening process (Schedules of 2015 1st)

1st step: Receiving application forms (application due date: May.27~.June 17 18:00, 2015)

2nd step: Document evaluation by department committee (until June. 22, 2015)

3rd step: Final evaluation & interview by graduate committee (tentative: July. mid, 2016)

 
◎Required documents
1. Cover of applications, resume (CV) and applications requirements

2. Letter of self introduction & letter of academic plan and research proposal

3. Letter of recommendation & research achievements

4. Academic transcript & official english test scores etc.
